Fairy Garden Ball: Grasping and Sensory Exploration
The Little Dutch Fairy Garden ball includes different textures, patterns, knots and tags. Its shape offers several gripping points, and the internal rattle makes a sound when the ball moves.
Exploring with the hands
Babies can grasp, release, turn and touch different parts of the ball. There is no need for specific exercises: placing it within reach and allowing free exploration is usually enough.
Interaction ideas
- Move it gently to hear the rattle.
- Bring it in from different sides to encourage visual tracking.
- Name the textures and colours while the baby touches them.
- Roll it a short distance when the baby begins to show interest in following objects.
As always, play should suit the baby's stage and take place in a safe, supervised environment.
